The 2013 Auxey-Duresses Villages has a generous blueberry and blackberry-scented bouquet – think of Bonnes Mares' younger cousin. The palate is rounded in the mouth: smooth and harmonious with hints of black cherry, cassis and strawberry. It is so silky in texture and seductive that it will be difficult to resist temptation to pop this open over the next couple of years, but it has the substance to last a lot longer.
