Healthy full red. Slightly high-toned aromas of raspberry, coffee and minerals, plus a positive vegetal nuance that reminded me of the young 2015. Creamy-sweet and highly concentrated, showing a lovely balance of sucrosité and acidity. Quite silky and stylish, especially for Nuits-Saint-Georges. The tannins are more successfully integrated today than those of the Gevrey-Chambertin Les Evocelles, which will allow this rather powerful wine to give pleasure earlier. Impressively long on the aftertaste.

The 2014 Nuits St Georges 1er Cru les Pruliers has a very concentrated nose with opulent red cherries, wild strawberry, hints of dates and fig developing in the glass with time. The palate is medium-bodied with succulent, ripe tannin. There is an insistent grip in the mouth, touches of bitter cherry lending tension, segueing into a structured, masculine finish.
