(vinified with 50% whole clusters): Healthy medium red. Aromas of black cherry, mocha and game are enlivened by spices and pronounced minerality. Powerful and penetrating but not sweet, with its black cherry, dark berry and licorice flavors conveying an impression of medicinal reserve. Finishes with building tannins, notes of licorice and menthol and lovely length.

Mid to deep cherry red. Lifted cherry sweetness, really fragrant and inviting. Delicate, slightly chalky tannins, great finesse and very pure, bright fruit flavours to the fore. Greater density than in the Nuits Les Procès but retains the open fragrance. Needs more time. (JH)

(40% vendange entier ; 50% new oak): Saturated dark red. Alluring, complex aromas of raspberry, Oriental spices and flowers. Juicy, firm and concentrated but not austere, with the stem element adding spine to the very fresh flavors of berries, flowers and stone. This lovely, vibrant wine really spreads out on the back end.
