Score 92/100 · Drink 2020-2035, Neal Martin, Wine Advocate, Oct 2017

Tasted blind at the annual Burgfest tasting, Marc Colin's 2014 Chassagne Montrachet 1er Cru Vide Bourse has a crisp and focused, mineral-driven bouquet with impressive clarity. The palate is very well balanced, quite powerful and richer in style than its peers, yet that bead of acidity keeps everything on an even keel and it feels refreshingly vibrant and tensile on the finish. Pretty and perhaps more delicate than others, I suspect it will gain weight with bottle age.
