Very rich and opulent. Round and succulent, with sufficient freshness. Some nice leafiness on the end. Very well balanced and complete without being too sweet or showy. (JR)

The 2015 Château Lécuyer has a charming, very pure cassis and black cherry-scented bouquet that is neatly interwoven with the new oak. There is panache here, even at this primal stage. The palate is fresh and vibrant with quite bold tannin, the new oak here coming through a little strongly and it just tapers in a little towards the grippy finish. Hopefully it will mellow by the time it is in bottle, because the constituent parts look attractive. Apr 2016, www.eRobertParker.com, Drink: 2020-2035
