The 2015 Château La Mouline is a competent, medium-bodied, moderately concentrated 2015 that has charming notes of strawberries, rose garden and flowers. It’s an enjoyable Moulis to drink over the coming 5-6 years.

Tasted at the Cru Bourgeois annual tasting, the 2015 La Mouline offers light brambly red fruit on the nose, slightly earthy and needing more clarity to come through. The palate is medium-bodied with fleshy red fruit, light acidity and an easy-going, very approachable finish. Enjoy this over the next five or six years. Tasted September 2017.

57% Cabernet Sauvignon, 39% Merlot, 3% Cabernet Franc, 1% Petit Verdot. Mid crimson. Notably perfumed. Very juicy fruit. Not much tannin but accessible with marked acidity. Just a bit gawky. (JR)
