Score 89-91/100 · Drink 2016-2026, Neal Martin, Wine Advocate, Dec 2015

The 2014 Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru La Romanée comes from the middle of the vineyard. There is a sense of brightness and lucidity on the nose, well defined with granite and quartz. The palate is smooth in the mouth with q fine line of acidity, touches of apricot, mango and a dash of white pepper towards the finish. Give this a couple of years to take flight.
