Score 88/100 · Drink 2017-2024, Neal Martin, Wine Advocate, Oct 2017

Tasted blind at the Burgfest 2014 tasting, the 2014 Pommard 1er Cru Clos des Epenots from Château de Meursault has a simple bouquet but one that is at least clean, with uncomplicated redcurrant and cranberry aromas. The palate is medium-bodied with supple tannin and simple red berry fruit, quite smooth in texture with a simple strawberry and raspberry preserve aftertaste. Tasted September 2017.
