Here too there is a discreet but not invisible touch of wood setting off the equally fresh nose that consists of a mix of both red and blue pinot fruit, plum and again soft spice wisps. There is excellent punch to the sappy and solidly concentrated flavors that are supported by moderately robust tannins on the less refined finish. This will require a few years of bottle age to unwind and resolve at least some of the structure. Dec 2016, www.burghound.com
