The NV 10 Year Old White Port São Leonardo is a field blend of grapes like Viosinho, Codega de Larinho, Cerceal and Malvasia. It was bottled in 2019 with a bar-top cork and 128 grams of residual sugar. This is a bit pricey for a 10 Year, but it is also quite lush and rich for a 10. Indeed, it tastes more like a Tawny in flavors and concentration. The color is like a Tawny too. The power is not as impressive, and it is a bit flabby at times, but it has some bite on the finish. This is an unusual white—it won't remind you of a white—but it is an excellent one. To be sure, some will prefer a white that actually seems like a white.
