Score 97/100 · Drink 2020-2030, Antonio Galloni, Vinous, Feb 2018

The 2015 Pinot Noir Joli Cœur is the most complete of the three Pinots in this range, as it brings together all of the Morlet signatures. Explosive, perfumed and deeply layered, the 2015 is simply magnificent. Red cherry jam, mint, rose petal and lavender all infuse this super-expressive, sumptuous Pinot. Even with all of its intensity, the 2015 remains remarkably nuanced and classy to the core.

Score 99/100 · Drink 2017-2030, Lisa Perrotti-Brown MW, Wine Advocate, Nov 2017

A barrel selection of the best of the Coteaux Nobles vineyard, the 2015 Pinot Noir Joli Coeur has a deep ruby-purple color and very impressive nose of red currants, black raspberries and violets over nuances of pencil lead, iron ore, underbrush and dusty earth, plus a touch of fungi. Medium to full-bodied, the palate has the volume turned up on the earthy, perfumed fruit flavor intensity, with very fine, ripe, pixelated tannins and tons of freshness, finishing very long. 350 cases were made.
