Score 94/100 · Drink 2018-2026, Stephan Reinhardt, Wine Advocate, Oct 2016

The unfiltered 2014 Sancerre Monts Damnés is very clear, deep, intense and smoky, as well as herbal on the barren yet complex nose and almost austere in its merciless stoniness and purity. Round, intense and elegant, this mouth-filling yet enormously pure wine is enormously salty and firm, very grippy and still on its stairway to heaven on earth. Enormously salty, with a great grip and a long and dry finish.
