Score 91-93/100 · Drink 2018-2029, Neal Martin, Wine Advocate, Dec 2016

The 2015 Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru Hameau de Blagny, from vines located next to Clos de la Truffières and La Garenne, offers an outstanding bouquet with very expressive mineralité and tension: cold wet limestone and a light fumé scent. There is wonderful focus and sense of place articulated by these aromatics. The palate is fresh and vibrant on the entry, hints of guava on the entry lend a touch of flair, but then it reverts to a more linear, focused and tensile Puligny in keeping with the terroir. There is a lot going on in this wine and it should be fascinating to see how it evolves in bottle. Bravo!
