The 2015 Puligny-Montrachet Les Folatières is a rich, expressive wine. There is discernible power to the peach, orange peel and mint notes. Layered and voluptuous, with considerable intensity, the 2015 is impressive. - Antonio Galloni

The 2015 Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru Folatières, which comes from two parcels of young and smaller plot of older vines, has a well-defined, austere but focused bouquet with gunflint and smoky scents reluctantly emerging. The palate is well balanced with pretty pear drop and light spicy notes, gently building to a poised finish. This is a well-crafted Puligny Folatières with nerve and focus.

They don’t own it but it's in the domaine because of fermage. Steely and fresh. Full bodied and perhaps could do with just a little bit more savour. Still chewy end. (JR)
