Score 85/100 · Drink 2018-2028, William Kelley, Wine Advocate, Jan 2019

The 2016 Echezeaux Grand Cru is one weak link in the range this year, and I suspect it is simply a victim of the frost damage. While the wine displays an attractive bouquet of red cherries, spices and herbs, its medium-bodied palate is somewhat tart and meager, with edgy acids and light but chewy structuring tannins.
