(from a normal yield of at least 45 hectoliters per hectare, according to Marion Javillier; aged in 30% new oak): Good citrussy lift to the nuanced aromas of tangy lime, fresh apricot and caraway seed. Very suave and nicely balanced, with refined flavors of citrus fruits, peach, hazelnut and spices supported by a firm spine of minerality. Good high-altitude energy here, and a persistent soil-driven aftertaste.

Citrus and breadth and richness. Utterly seductive. Such brilliant precision. Great match of tension and fruit. (JR)

Bright, light straw-yellow. Reticent nose hints at lemon, lime and spicy oak, with a touch of reduction. Fatter and sweeter than the Puligny-Montrachet Levrons, with orange zest and lemon drop flavors complicated by a suggestion of brook water. Finishes a bit aggressive and dry-edged but nicely done.
