The 2016 Bourgogne Rouge, already in bottle, offers attractive brambly red berry fruit on the nose with just a hint of briary. There is certainly plenty of fruit here. The palate is well balanced but just lacks a little body on the mid-palate. But it is fresh, conveys good energy and should drink nicely for three or four years.
