Pretty density and tightness to this young red with currant and meat undertones to the fruit. Medium body. Creamy tannins and a flavorful finish. Better after 2021.

The 2017 Clauzet has a conservative blackberry and tobacco-scented bouquet that feels clean and precise. The palate is medium-bodied with sappy black fruit that tightly grip the mouth, although the finish lacks the precision of top drawer Saint-Estèphes.

Mid cherry red. Sweetness of dark-red fruit on the nose. Tannins are fine-grained but the whole is a little dry and lacking fruit on the mid palate but you won't have to wait too long for it. (JH)
