The 2017 Chambolle-Musigny Village comes from vines close to the Morey border and sees one-third new oak. It offers straightforward brambly red fruit on the nose, displaying the earthiness you would obtain from Morey. The palate is well balanced with an energetic opening, touches of orange zest infusing the red fruit, and quite a delicate but energetic finish. Enjoy this over the next decade.
