50% Perdriel, and 50% Gualtallary. Good balance and satisfying. Very savoury finish. Real grip on the palate. (JR)

I was a bit surprised to see such high levels of ripeness in the 2013 The Apple Doesn't Fall Far From The Tree, but I opened a second bottle and it showed quite similar. Dark-colored, almost opaque, the nose has aromas of stewed plums and organic earthy hints, with some notes of grains and cereals. The palate is round and lush with moderate acidity and some dusty tannins. I was expecting more from this bottling.
