A dark and beastly expression in the best possible way, the 2015 Pinot Noir Temperance Hill wows the senses with a burst of blood orange and brown spice complicated by dried black cherries. This is pure pleasure on the palate, energetic and spry with ripe wild berry depths accelerated by juicy acidity as an air of sweet lavender forms toward the close. It finishes long and potent, still boasting adolescent tannins, as hints of sour citrus and savory herbs slowly fade. The Temperance Hill is a showboat, yet beautifully balanced.

Brilliant red. A highly perfumed bouquet of red fruit liqueur, cherry pie, candied flowers and Asian spices carries a smoky mineral overtone. Impressively concentrated yet lithe on the palate, offering sweet, mineral-laced raspberry, cherry cola, rose pastille and spicecake flavors that spread out steadily with air. Delivers a suave blend of power and finesse and finishes with harmonious tannins, outstanding clarity and intense, floral-driven persistence.
