Score 86-88/100 · Drink 2018-2023, Neal Martin, Wine Advocate, Dec 2017

The 2016 Chassagne Montrachet Rouge, cropped at 32 hectoliters per hectare, has a lovely, quite plush red cherry and strawberry-scented bouquet. The palate is fresh and rounded on the entry with modest acidity, maybe a little strict and straitlaced on the finish. Drink over the next four or five years.
