Score 90/100 · Drink 2022-2038, William Kelley, Wine Advocate, Jun 2020

The 2018 Mercurey Le Châpitre has once again turned out very nicely, offering up a brooding bouquet of cassis, black cherries and plums, framed by a deft touch of oak. Medium to full-bodied, supple and velvety, with a deep core of fruit, lively acids and powdery tannins, it's the most immediate of Lorenzon's reds.
