Pretty, spicy notes of black cherries, raspberries, spice, and earthy underbrush all emerge from the 2017 Chassagne-Montrachet Rouge. It's medium-bodied and silky on the palate, with a charming, delicious style ideal for drinking over the coming decade or more.

Bright medium yellow. Ripe yellow fruits, menthol and a smoky note on the nose, along with a suggestion of honey. Fat and open-knit, showing decent volume and thickness but in need of a bit more depth and thrust. Has just enough energy to support its flesh and finishes with an edge of acidity.
