The 2019 Côte de Brouilly La Chapelle comes from vines 40–50 years of age that have just begun to be re-planted, on shallow soils at the top of the hill. It has a very well defined bouquet of brambly red fruit, cranberry and crushed strawberry laced with minerals. The medium-bodied palate displays superb structure and density. Supple and very harmonious, with a fine line of acidity and a discreet white pepper note toward the finish. This is a fantastic Côte de Brouilly with the substance for long-term aging.

The 2019 Côte de Brouilly La Chapelle confirms all the promise it showed last year, offering up aromas of plums, raw cocoa, sweet berry fruit, cherries and peonies. Medium to full-bodied, layered and fleshy, it's rich and concentrated, with a bright spine of acidity and powdery structuring tannins.
