The 2019 Montagny 1er Cru has a light and innocuous nose, touches of gravel and Alpine stream, almost Zen-like compared to the Pulignys. The palate is well balanced with veins of tropical fruit on the entry: lychee and passion fruit, leading to a weighty and rounded finish. For early consumption.

Bright lemon yellow. Light well-balanced nose. A little too mild. Sweetish and easy to like but without any real savour. Creamy texture but not that much flavour. (JR)
