The 2019 Blagny La Piece Sous Le Bois 1er Cru was one cru that felt just a little disjointed with the oak at the time of my tasting. The palate is medium-bodied and quite sinewy on the entry, moderate in weight, with a compact finish. Once this is racked it will certainly flesh out and cohere, and my score is based on that.
