Aromas of pear, peach and nutmeg introduce Colin's 2019 Bourgogne Chardonnay, a medium to full-bodied, fleshy and charming wine that's underpinned by ripe acids. As usual, it's derived from vines in the communes of Puligny-Montrachet, Chassagne-Montrachet and Saint-Aubin.

The 2019 Bourgogne Chardonnay was the only cuvée bottled before my visit in September. It has an attractive bouquet, the 10% new oak just rounding out the light tropical tones. The palate is medium-bodied with light Golden Delicious and Clementine notes, moderate length with a fresh, slightly tangy finish.
