The 2019 Chambolle-Musigny Les Feusselottes 1er Cru has an attractive nose of shimmering red berry fruit tinged with shucked oyster shells and wet limestone/petrichor; the 50% new oak is neatly integrated here. The palate is succulent and fleshy on the entry, delivering all the rondeur you could want from a Chambolle-Musigny but with countervailing tension and spiciness toward the silky smooth finish. So pure! This will give 20–25 years of drinking pleasure.
