Aromas of green apples and white flowers introduce the 2017 Saint-Aubin 1er Cru Le Charmois, a medium-bodied, bright wine with an elegantly textural attack and a chalky, succulent mid-palate and finish.

(these 20- and 60-year-old vines yielded an average of 50 hectoliters per hectare): Bright yellow-green. Enticing floral lift to the aromas of lime and tangy green tropical fruits. Dense, juicy and light on its feet, showing good concentration for 2017. There's a refreshing green quality here as well as a positive dusty edge to the persistent citrussy finish.
