The 2019 Puligny-Montrachet Village has turned out brilliantly, wafting from the glass with scents of citrus oil, crisp green apple, freshly baked bread and mandarin orange. Medium to full-bodied, velvety and enveloping, it's taut and incisive, with fine concentration, tangy acids and a long, chalky finish. This pure, precise wine is built to age with grace.

A more elegant and markedly more floral nose speaks of acacia blossom, poached pear and just sliced green apple. The succulent, round and delicious flavors possess fine mid-palate concentrated while exuding a discreet minerality on the clean, moderately dry and delineated finale. This is an excellent Puligny villages that offers very good cellaring potential. One to look for. 90-92
