The 2018 Meursault 1er Cru Les Charmes wafts from the glass with a lovely bouquet of green orchard fruit, nutmeg, mandarin and fresh pastry. Medium to full-bodied, satiny and enveloping, it's layered and textural, with a fleshy core, lively acids and good length on the finish.

The 2018 Meursault Les Charmes 1er Cru comes from the Dessus and Les Dessous lieux-dits. It has a clean, precise bouquet, quite focused and sporting a discernible sea spray aroma. The well-balanced palate delivers orange peel and marmalade on the entry. This displays fine depth and better tension on the finish compared to the Les Chevalières. Recommended.
