The 2020 Chassagne-Montrachet La Romanée 1er Cru, harvested the same morning as the La Grande Montagne, has a beautiful nose: yellow plum, honeysuckle, shaved almond and touches of vanilla extract. The palate is very well balanced with superb depth. Vibrant and compelling, cellars will be incomplete without this Chassagne.

Tank sample. Deep lemon colour; very rich, undoubtedly of great consistency and concentration, but just a chimera and infant today. Like the others from this domaine, demands patient cellaring. (MH)
