Like all the Mosbacher wines, certified organic. The south-east-facing vineyard rises towards the forest edge at 120–160 m above sea level. The significant proportion of basalt in the soil, along with sandstone, stores warmth and results in particularly ripe grapes. I wonder whether in 2020 the grapes were picked quite early, because there is no fatness on the nose here. Tight, compact nose but sleek, satin-textured, almost peachy fruit on the palate, all kept in check by a lime-like acidity. Long and complete. The palate is much more developed than the nose and this is hugely impressive already on the palate. (JR)

The minty freshness of the nose leads you into a sleek and polished, medium-bodied palate. Everything fits together beautifully, but it lacks a bit of concentration and length for the GG category. Drink now.
