The 2019 Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru Les Feusselottes has also turned out beautifully, wafting from the glass with a complex bouquet of raspberries and blackberries mingled with hints of orange rind, violets and exotic spices. Medium to full-bodied, satiny and enveloping, it's deep and fleshy, with a layered core of fruit, lively acids and remarkable structural finesse for such a young, undeniably concentrated wine. This might well be the finest Feusselottes that Tremblay has produced to date.

30% whole bunch, 50% new oak. 1.5 ha. Very fragrant. Cask sample. Great intensity. Really gorgeous. Long and powerful. Anthony Hanson MW with whom I’m tasting and Cecile Tremblay are distracted by AirDrop as I taste but they should be concentrating on this amazing wine! (JR)
