2020 La Segreta Bianco

The 2020 Il Bianco La Segreta is spicy and perfumed, as lime zest gives way to nectarine, dusty florals and hints of ginger. It’s silky, almost oily in texture, contrasted by cooling mineral and herbal tones, with ripe orchard fruits and a note of candied citrus that builds toward the close. Residual acids tug at the cheeks as this finishes clean but also a bit shorter than I’d hoped. Il Bianco is a blend of 50% Grecanico, 30% Chardonnay, 10% Viognier and 10% Fiano.
