Score 89-91/100 · Drink 2023-2036, Neal Martin, Dec 2021

The 2020 Corton-Charlemagne Grand Cru comes from 0.15-hectares of vine and sees 50% new oak. Quite forward with tropical notes on the nose, peach skin and nectarine, a touch of citrus peel, this is quite fragrant and appealing, though not cerebral. The palate is rounded on the entry, low acidity, quite weighty with a creamy, leesy finish.
