Composed of a blend of 36% Roussanne, 25% Semillon Blanc, 22% Chenin Blanc, 11% Chardonnay and 6% Clairette Blanche, the 2019 Rocking Horse Cape White begins pale gold in color with aromas of citrus and vanilla pastry cream, pineapple, wax melon, white peach, sweet citrus and yellow apple skin. Medium-bodied, the palate offers a delightfully balanced and lifted expression with subtle tones of white spices that dance with energetic acidity and juicy fresh fruit expressions. The wine concludes with a long, lingering finish that delivers pleasure at every turn and overdelivers at this price. Bravo!

The 2019 Rocking Horse is a blend of 36% Roussanne, 25% Sémillon, 22% Chenin Blanc, 11% Chardonnay and 6% Clairette Blanche. It has a winsome bouquet of citrus fruit, chamomile and almond shavings, all very well defined. The focused, vibrant palate delivers a fine bead of acidity and a gentle, apricot-tinged finish. Lovely.
