Aromas of orange oil, white flowers, almond paste and peach introduce the 2019 Bourgogne Blanc Les Grandes Corvées, a medium to full-bodied, layered and enveloping wine that's textural and gourmand, with notable flesh and extract. Caillat observes that this parcel was frosted in this vintage, so yields were even lower than the average.

The 2019 Bourgogne Les Grand Corvées, which was taken directly from vat, was very primal on the nose and difficult to read at the moment. The palate is expressive with a touch of sour lemon on the entry, fine weight with hints of almond and egg whites lending sweetness on the finish. This should turn out to be a pretty Bourgogne Blanc.
