The 2015 Ladoix 1er Cru La Corvées is from south-facing vines. There is a more noticeable tertiary character here compared to the Les Joyeuses, whilst the palate is nicely structured with plenty of crunchy red and black fruit. It has impressive focus and mineral drive towards the finish, and a long, sustained aftertaste. Excellent - this is a delicious Ladoix with bags of potential.
