The 2019 Pommard 1er Cru Les Fremiers is excellent, unwinding in the glass with aromas of sweet red berries and plums complemented by hints of orange oil, loamy soil and raw cocoa. Medium to full-bodied, velvety and seamless, it's deep and complete, with lively acids and a long, penetrating finish.

The 2019 Pommard Les Fremiers 1er Cru has a delightful, utterly charming bouquet of vivacious red cherries mixed with wild strawberry, floral notes of rose petal emerging with aeration. The palate is smooth and surprisingly rich, the saturated tannins framing the core of kirsch and strawberry notes. I would have liked a little more grip and finesse on the finish, but this is certainly packed full of flavor.
