This was a highlight of a stunning line-up at Olivier Bernstein – a Grand Cru of ethereal beauty. Gloriously expressive, floral perfume lifts from the glass, leading you onto a palate of powdered elegance. It’s long and bright, with structure behind – but fine-boned. Sweet cherry fills the midpalate, complemented by a redcurrant brightness. There’s such tension between the sweet fruit and acidity, the two playing off each other. Fresh, long and saline, this is very special.
