Here there is no funkiness to the cool, airy and pure aromas of red berries, rose petal and discreet wood. The lilting and more refined, indeed even delicate, middleweight flavors exude a subtle minerality on the sour cherry-suffused and sneaky long finish. This well-made effort will need a few years to add depth.
