The 2020 Griottes-Chambertin Grand Cru has a very perfumed bouquet with violet and incense infusing the intense black and blueberry fruit, touches of liquorice emerging with time. The palate is medium-bodied with succulent ripe tannins, very well integrated oak, lots of panache here with a sweet spicy, pain d'épices finish. Very long. Not a subtle Griottes but one to cellar down for several years (at least).

The 2020 Griotte-Chambertin Grand Cru is sensual and perfumed, bursting from the glass with aromas of cherries, red berries, rose petals, sweet spices and licorice. Full-bodied, ample and satiny, with a velvety attack that segues into a layered, concentrated mid-palate, it concludes with a long, floral finish.
