Verduno. Youthful and just mid ruby. Pretty, ripe cherry and raspberry-jam nose. Juicy, elegant palate with fine tannins. Very light on the palate, elegant and long. (WS)

The 2019 Barolo is all from Boscato, in the town of Verduno. Sweet tobacco, earthiness, orange peel, cedar, dried flowers, licorice and herbs give the 2019 notable aromatic presence, while the fruit is pushed more into the background. There's more than enough complexity to ensure a decade of fine drinking, especially once the tannins soften a touch.
