Score 92/100 · Drink 2027-2042, Neal Martin, Oct 2025

The 2021 Echézeaux Grand Cru does not quite have the precision of Guyon's Echézeaux though it offers a pleasing mixture of red and black fruit, hints of graphite and sous-bois . The palate is well balanced with crunchy red and black fruit. It is a little chalky in texture but has fine tension, bright and tensile with a touch of sous cherry that enlivens the finish. Give it a couple of years in bottle. Tasted blind at the Burgfest tasting.
