Drink 0-0, Neal Martin, Jan 2023

Damien Colin produced 180-litres of 2021 Bâtard-Montrachet Grand Cru, and due to the minute quantity, I did not taste this cuvée.

The 2021 Bâtard-Montrachet Grand Cru unwinds in the glass with aromas of pear, confit orange, lemon zest, white flowers, crisp green apple and buttery pastry. Full-bodied, satiny and multidimensional, it's rich but chiseled, with chalky structuring extract and a long, expansive finish.
