Perfumed and aromatic, the 2018 Bourgogne Blanc bursts with with scents of orange blossom, pear, white flowers and honeyed peaches. Medium to full-bodied, it's ample and fleshy but pure and succulent. A third of the blend comes from the Beaujolais, the balance from Maranges, and one might easily imagine that there are some muscaté selections of Chardonnay at play here, even though I'm assured that isn't the case.

The 2018 Bourgogne Blanc, whose fruit comes from Maranges and includes one-third Beaujolais Blanc, has a light, slightly honeyed bouquet with touches of tangerine and mango. The well-balanced palate features orange peel and light pineapple notes on the finish. Very pleasant.
