Light crimson. Light nose. Very fruity indeed. Charming, sweet and very forward. (JR)

The 2013 Aloxe-Corton Village finished its malolactic in June, earlier than the other Follin-Arbelet wines. It has a fragrant bouquet of dark berries, briary and forest floor notes, quite contained at the moment. The palate is underpinned by bright red cherry and raspberry notes, fine tannins and a foursquare finish that offers good density and purity. I much prefer this to the Pernand-Vergelesses Fichots that I tasted just before.
