The 2018 Puligny-Montrachet Les Folatières needs some time to come together, as it was quite marked by its new wood when I tasted it. Exhibiting aromas of fresh peach, confit citrus and a prominent framing of nutty oak, it's medium to full-bodied, firm and structured. I have every expectation that it will turn out well, so I look forward to revisiting this from bottle.
